Following a number of years working in the City of London, the allure of the Northern line and the bright lights began to fade and I was fortunate enough to spend a number of months in Courmayeur, Italy between jobs. It was at this time that my passion for Italy and the mountains began.

Subsequently I obtained the Level 4 alpine qualification through the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) and was fortunate enough for to be selected and to have worked as a trainer for the association for approximately 10 years.

In 2016 I had the opportunity to combine my previous business knowledge, passion for the mountains and Italy into one role, that of Resorts Director for Interski responsible for operations in the Aosta Valley, Italy. The scope of the role has expanded in recent years and now also includes oversight further afield in Andorra, Spain and with other educational tours through our other brand, Interschool Travel.
